When I Say Goodbye

Tuesday, January 29th, 2008

When I say goodbye
You’ll know that it is done
That I have laid the path
And now walk beyond the sun

When the door is closed
Then your eyes may clearly see
The painting I have etched
Across the sky is me

No more will we question
What we cannot understand
For I now raise my voice to sing
In that far off distant band

I’m Near

Tuesday, January 29th, 2008

I may have left but I am not gone
For our love, will always live on
You feel alone, as you grieve
But I am near, I did not leave
I will always hold you close to me
Though right now you cannot see
But someday we’ll walk together again
I’ll hold your hand, in remember when
So see me smile, hear my voice
It was time, we had no choice
I don’t want you to feel regret or sorrow
We missed nothing, for heaven holds tomorrow

Oh Happiness

“Sadness opens the gate to happiness…”

24th of January

Thursday, January 24th, 2008

Snow is so silent. I watch it drift softly searching for a place to call home. Often an unwanted guest. But still so peaceful. Beneath the ground new life is waiting to break forth come spring. Longing for the sun, to awaken a sleeping world. How good it must feel, how good it will feel.

Isn’t life like that? So often we are caught in some strange unwanted slumber, waiting for something to happen something to begin. To stretch our faith, in a new days sun, and to just feel what it’s like to step out and believe, maybe sometimes to just close our eyes, and not worry about what may not even be there once we open them.

We may grow cold, from life’s winters, but we must always believe in the spring, in the summer. That there is so much more, just waiting to break forth. All we have to do really is believe

Lean On Me

Thursday, January 24th, 2008

Do not worry for I am here
Rest your head against my shoulder
I will be the strength you need today
Tomorrow it may all be over
Nightmares pass when a new dawn is born
So do not cry, I am here
Lean on me, you can stand
You have nothing to fear
Sooner or later it will all work out
But no matter what may be
Nothing can hold back the dawn
Lean on me, just lean on me
